Reflect and give feedback

You have now reached the final stop on our training roadmap. We have designed it so you can:

  • Evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses as a GUM coach.
  • Describe the most important aspects of the programme.
  • Identify your key stakeholders who will support your programme.
  • Share your ideas on how to improve this training tool.

Reflect

Take a moment to reflect on what you have learned in this training course. You may want to grab a pen and a paper or open a note on your computer.

Exercise 1: What are the skills and knowledge you bring with you to your GUM backpack?

  • Which of the skills do you already have? Which of these skills do you wish to develop further?

Exercise 2: What will your first proposed GUM activity look like?

So you may start asking yourself the following questions:

  • As a child what did you like most doing?
  • And now, what are the activities you enjoy most and you would like to share?
  • Why?

Exercise 3: Where will these activities take place?

List the ideal settings and mark down if you need any specific action or allies to get access to them.

Exercise 4: Based on your dream plan and your current knowledge and skills, is there any need for education, training and equipment?
